5.12: Spiders attack!

But as the three younger colleagues head back to their den carrying with them the spurned red scarf of hypothetical office with the Order of the Sponge, they come across an evil scene. 

Really not far from the sanctuary of the Potting Shed itself, it seems that some of the smaller creatures who live in a mysterious flying box, of which they may have been performing a weekly clean and tidy, sweeping the floor and dusting the machinery, have been surprised by a bulb spider raiding party. Belching and cackling, one of the spiders has the box’s removable control unit and the others are trying to wrench open the door, manually, and pop out the little creatures for a tasty morsel, much like eating an oyster.

Filled with righteous outrage, pTravis and Masongill rush forward and drive the spiders away while Lottie calls out encouragement. They reunite the little creatures with the control unit – and its reassuring dematerialise lever – which enables them to seal the box safely shut, or possibly fly it away, and they continue back towards the den.
