4.13: The two set off

The next morning, Lottie and pTravis assemble outside the Potting Shed to start their quest. Lottie is carrying a mysterious parcel but refuses to say what is inside.

pTravis is again wearing his new red scarf and Lottie, to her own consternation, realises that she thinks he looks quite fetching. Stupid grown-up! 

He also has a compass which is obviously broken as it says that north is in quite the wrong direction. Stupid grown-up! 

Waving them off, Alcock has another inspiration: Follow the compass all the same, he says.
